Handmade designer jewelry crafted to last...Much of the commercial and designer jewelry sold in the marketplace today is created with the throw-away mentality that has become commonplace in our society. It is often mass-produced in countries that fail to pay living wages to those who create it, with substandard materials and poor quality craftsmanship. It's sole purpose is to meet the fleeting demands of a given fad at relatively little cost to the purchaser. Each piece of the handcrafted designer jewelry on this site has been crafted to combat that mentality, by hand, one at a time. Our jewelry designs are not so much about what everyone else is wearing; rather they are about what others are not. They are about expressing oneself in a unique and uniquely timeless way - proclaiming one's individuality amidst the sea of mass-produced carbon copies. And like fingerprints, no two pieces are identical. Even when a piece is duplicated exactly, as in a Limited Edition run on a design, the piece will still bear the marks of the artisan's hand, different each time, or the infinite variations nature provides within each gemstone. All of our handmade designer jewelry is crafted with the finest attention to detail and is created to withstand the rigors of daily living - from power lunches at the office or sack lunches on a playground to hauling lunch to your livestock. Even the most delicate-looking of our pieces is made to be lived in and passed down. Working to protect our environment... We care about the environment and conduct our business in as earth-friendly a manner as possible. Our designer jewelry is handcrafted using environmentally friendly compounds when possible to minimize environmental impact and the methods we employ in crafting our jewelry produce little waste. We ship our designer jewelry using the minimum materials possible to ensure it's safe arrival at your door. Each piece of jewelry is shipped in a small ziplock bag within a cloth jewelry bag which can be re-used over and over to store your jewelry. Giving back to our communities... We believe strongly in giving back to our local and global communities and do so in every way we can. We also believe in volunteering in our communities on a personal level and encourage everyone to do so! |
